In 1972, estate of Gustav and Dorothea Strandt was donated to Concordia University Wisconsin. The 90 acre site located on the north side of Shawano Lake was meant to be a retreat for Lutheran workers and their families. It also serves many other groups.
Concordia is considering the development of approx. (20) 2-3 bedroom cabins, a dining hall, and meeting center. |
